Check-in

The Check-in time at OTONARI is from 3:00 pm.
Regarding Check-in, we will meet you to give you the key, assist in signing in, and show you around the rooms. 

Check-out

Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. 

Proceed to Check-out by yourself before that time.

Please lock the door when vacating the house. 

Payment

Reservations made through third-party sites will charged through their site. For reservations made directly through us, advanced payment will be required. Payments may be made through various methods. Please tell us which payment method you will be using. 

Luggage Storage

Luggage may be held beforehand and/or for a time after Check-out.

Please inquire for details. We regret to inform you that this option is unavailable in cases of hard currency or valuables. 

Parking

Parking for a car, not van or larger, is available.

You will share the space with us, so at times, our private vehicle may prevent you from exiting. 

Please feel free to contact us if you need it to be moved. 

Appliances

Please turn off all the lights and air conditioner before leaving the house and at check-out. Videos regarding use of each appliance are on the tablet. Washing machine is provided, but there is no dryer. If you wish to dry your clothes quickly, we will guide you to a nearby laundromat. 

Pellet Stove

A pellet stove is available for use during the Winter season. Please turn off when leaving the house, before bed, and at check-out. Be careful not to burn yourself. Refer to the how to use video on the tablet. 

Kitchen

Feel free to cook in the kitchen. Cooking wares and dishes are available for use. Please wash any used dishes. 

Bath & Laundry Room

Basic amenities are provided. The bathtub is cold during the winter, so please add hot water once to warm the bathtub and then add hot water again.  Extra towels are available upon request, at a separate charge. 

Bed & Furniture

Please do not jump on the bed. Be careful not to damage or stain the beds or furniture. A change of sheets is available upon request, at a separate charge. 

Internet

Wi-Fi is available. We will give you a paper with the SSID and password upon arrival. The Internet speed is not extremely fast, so take that into consideration. 

Smoking

OTONARI is smoke free. You may smoke outside. Please refrain from using such items as incense, perfume, or other similarly strong smelling materials during your stay.
